Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Canelones FC's Anaya Capistrano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guillelmus Hortigosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Raebert Golpe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abilio Nieto. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. After 20 minutes, Uzuri Cortinas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pintado FC and the Canelones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Uzuri Cortinas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Anaya Capistrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Abilio Nieto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anaya Capistrano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pintado FC's zone, Anaya Capistrano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abilio Nieto came out of the goal and Anaya Capistrano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pintado FC's Abilio Nieto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Pintado FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Damian Arostegui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canelones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Arostegui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abilio Nieto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pintado FC's Abilio Nieto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anaya Capistrano in the 32nd minute of play. When Timo Cerna came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pintado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timo Cerna couldn't finish the play. Guillelmus Hortigosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uzuri Cortinas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Isauro Bermejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillelmus Hortigosa in the 53rd minute of play. Anaya Capistrano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th match minute, Pintado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cresencio Franques to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Guillelmus Hortigosa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 77 minutes into the match, Canelones FC's goalkeeper Isauro Bermejo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timo Cerna. Guillelmus Hortigosa scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isauro Bermejo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Argi Traspuesto might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abilio Nieto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Argi Traspuesto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, Anaya Capistrano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canelones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. If Anaya Capistrano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abilio Nieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anaya Capistrano in the 98th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Canelones FC had won after a very even match.
