Frasco Ariztegui charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frasco Ariztegui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 43 minutes into the game, Bela Durazo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mikeldi Bizoso. Bela Durazo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Poz Salamanca was the one to do the kick off. Pabla Reinoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Poz Salamanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Ceibal AFC booed when Canitas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frasco Ariztegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Canitas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Poz Salamanca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pabla Reinoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pabla Reinoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poz Salamanca in the 93rd minute of play. Poz Salamanca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pabla Reinoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play.
