Reimundo Ramila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Dante Purrigimon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reimundo Ramila was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Cordeara Almenara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanchez's supporters rose to their feet, but Cordeara Almenara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reimundo Ramila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Romano Dueñas made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cordeara Almenara in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reimundo Ramila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Nando's zone, Cordeara Almenara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reimundo Ramila came out of the goal and Cordeara Almenara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Purrigimon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reimundo Ramila having to interfere. Reimundo Ramila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordeara Almenara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Dante Purrigimon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reimundo Ramila was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Nando's Romano Dueñas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Nando succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sanchez had controlled the match.
