Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olayo Galarza started the match with the kick off. 11 minutes into the match, Liberfad's goal looked a bit too open when Cordeara Almenara came free, but Endira Venegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olayo Galarza struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ermegildo Nogal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liberfad. After a rather tough play, Sanchez's Cortez Munarriz got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th match minute, Liberfad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Cabrera to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sanchez's zone, Olayo Galarza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Nogal came out of the goal and Olayo Galarza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cordeara Almenara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 21st minute, but Endira Venegas got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Liberfad hanging dry this time. Liberfad's Endira Venegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordeara Almenara in the 31st minute of play. When Sanchez's Dante Purrigimon, in the 38th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sanchez. After 45 played minutes, Sanchez's Benino Hompanera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Endira Venegas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sanchez reached it. Espiridion Docio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Nogal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cordeara Almenara to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cordeara Almenara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanchez's supporters rose to their feet, but Cordeara Almenara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Endira Venegas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olayo Galarza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Liberfad's goal looked a bit too open when Cordeara Almenara came free, but Endira Venegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liberfad's Endira Venegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Purrigimon in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cordeara Almenara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Endira Venegas was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Purrigimon in the 72nd minute of play forced Liberfad's goalkeeper Endira Venegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cordeara Almenara in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Endira Venegas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Olayo Galarza came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Liberfad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olayo Galarza couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Sanchez getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Lohitzun Antonijoan hit a great ball. When Espiridion Docio came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Liberfad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Espiridion Docio couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Liberfad's Olayo Galarza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ermegildo Nogal. That made the score 1-1 after 84 minutes of play. Cordeara Almenara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Endira Venegas having to make a save. Dante Purrigimon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Endira Venegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Liberfad players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sanchez from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
