Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Nacional's Isadore Salgueiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Isadore Salgueiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nacional protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Isadore Salgueiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Rodolfo Fardi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Domingo Carrasquedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Zavier Lozada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Lunarejo FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Masa. In the 14th minute Lizar Balague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xuoco Manzanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Lizar Balague had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xuoco Manzanal. Lunarejo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lizar Balague was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lunarejo FC's zone, Gasteiz Aguirre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xuoco Manzanal came out of the goal and Gasteiz Aguirre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Lizar Balague left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Lizar Balague struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Xuoco Manzanal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional. 28 minutes into the match, Nacional's Chico Maja sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xuoco Manzanal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute of the match, Lizar Balague got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xuoco Manzanal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Lizar Balague managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Lizar Balague was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xuoco Manzanal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Nacional booed when Lunarejo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Carrasquedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lizar Balague succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 36th playminute. Lizar Balague recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chico Maja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lizar Balague made a kick off. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Madeo Quelia hit a great ball. When Rodolfo Fardi came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lunarejo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Fardi couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunarejo FC's goalkeeper Xuoco Manzanal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Madeo Quelia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lizar Balague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madeo Quelia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xuoco Manzanal having to make a save. In the 61st minute Lizar Balague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xuoco Manzanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Gasteiz Aguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gasteiz Aguirre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Nacional's Gasteiz Aguirre got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Lunarejo FC's Dacio Muruve sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zavier Lozada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lizar Balague's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xuoco Manzanal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Lizar Balague sped through Lunarejo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xuoco Manzanal. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Madeo Quelia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lizar Balague in the 81st minute of play forced Lunarejo FC's goalkeeper Xuoco Manzanal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lizar Balague in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xuoco Manzanal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the game, Nacional's Lizar Balague nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xuoco Manzanal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When Rodolfo Fardi fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunarejo FC's protests and gave Rodolfo Fardi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nacional booed when Lunarejo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Fardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunarejo FC's goalkeeper Xuoco Manzanal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xuoco Manzanal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lizar Balague's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Nacional walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
