Thomas Aguilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oriol Gigante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Sendoa Abendano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oriol Gigante got free with Sendoa Abendano in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vinicio Rozas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rius Cañedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Pellin having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Oliverio Salbago came free, but Mariano Pellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Pellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zayvion Gamboa in the 29th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Dragons's Oriol Gigante made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sendoa Abendano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ourente Peñuelas charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ourente Peñuelas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ourente Peñuelas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Sendoa Abendano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Aguilar in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Aguilar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dragons getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ourente Peñuelas hit a great ball. Pinchazo's Sendoa Abendano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriol Gigante in the 60th minute of play. Sendoa Abendano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Aguilar in the 63rd minute of play. Sendoa Abendano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Aguilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oriol Gigante in the 81st minute of play forced Pinchazo's goalkeeper Sendoa Abendano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragons's Oriol Gigante got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
