Lico Baiges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Aguilar in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Dragons's Thomas Aguilar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lico Baiges. Lico Baiges yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Mariano Pellin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lalo Laboy's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. UrUgUayO.ClUb's Lico Baiges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Aguilar in the 20th minute of play. Thomas Aguilar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lico Baiges came out and tried to block the shot, but Thomas Aguilar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. The supporters of UrUgUayO.ClUb booed when Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ourente Peñuelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sabino Barcenas fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UrUgUayO.ClUb's protests and gave Sabino Barcenas a yellow card for diving instead. Sabino Barcenas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Oriol Gigante could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Lico Baiges however easily saved by the left post. Thomas Aguilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lico Baiges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattin Lelerre kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Lico Baiges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Aguilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to UrUgUayO.ClUb getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Xurdin Abeyta hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Aguilar to make the kick off. Oriol Gigante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Ourente Peñuelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lico Baiges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oriol Gigante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Thomas Aguilar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragons's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Aguilar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lico Baiges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Aguilar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lico Baiges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Vinicio Rozas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Lalo Laboy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Pellin having to interfere. Oriol Gigante's late challenge caught a UrUgUayO.ClUb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oriol Gigante helped the player get up and apologised. Thomas Aguilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Aguilar in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lico Baiges saved UrUgUayO.ClUb from getting behind. Txerran Sustaeta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Mariano Pellin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Thomas Aguilar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Aguilar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dragons's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
