The referee showed Urbes Pedros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeru Herrea in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Masana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lugo Contreras in the 18th minute of play forced Kraken FC's goalkeeper Miguel Masana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kraken FC's Miguel Masana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vedillo Cigüenza in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Vedillo Cigüenza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbache F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Fabian Ceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mane Taboada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Anda in the 26th minute. After 29 minutes, Zeru Herrea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbache F.C and the Kraken FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 32 minutes into the match, Kraken FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lugo Contreras came free, but Miguel Masana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kraken FC's Miguel Masana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Canor Portela in the 33rd minute of play. Zeru Herrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xerardo Poz's late challenge caught a Fenerbache F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xerardo Poz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fenerbache F.C booed when Kraken FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xerardo Poz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Confesor Arada was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Confesor Arada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mane Taboada. Fenerbache F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Confesor Arada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Lugo Contreras kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Masana. That made the score 1-4 in the 59 minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Lugo Contreras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbache F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lugo Contreras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lugo Contreras got free with Miguel Masana in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Miguel Masana managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Fenerbache F.C's Zeru Herrea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kraken FC's goalkeeper Miguel Masana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeru Herrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Masana having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Kraken FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Brañas. Fenerbache F.C's attack was well implemented in the 81st minute, but when Zeru Herrea was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick.
