Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leoiar Roda kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leoiar Roda in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascoal Seral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pascoal Seral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leoiar Roda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leoiar Balines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 19 minutes, Basajaun Urrea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mendoza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basajaun Urrea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rocha's Pascoal Seral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leoiar Roda in the 25th minute of play. When Basajaun Urrea came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Mendoza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basajaun Urrea couldn't finish the play. Pascoal Seral made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Basajaun Urrea sent off a good shot on target. If Leoiar Balines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mendoza's Ariel Mathey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Mimenza in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Rocha were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zuri Heras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Pascoal Seral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascoal Seral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basajaun Urrea in the 57th minute of the match. Pascoal Seral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leoiar Roda went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ariel Mathey made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Leoiar Balines sent off a good shot on target. Pascoal Seral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leoiar Roda, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Leoiar Roda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rocha's Pascoal Seral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Rocha booed when Mendoza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Taracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rocha's Pascoal Seral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leoiar Roda in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute Leoiar Roda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascoal Seral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rocha supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rocha would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
