Cordarrol Amezua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Zumar Palma made a huge save. Nacional's Zumar Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarrol Amezua in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Nacional's Yoelvis Meneses nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urdin Labora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Lapurdi Calzada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Memento mori's supporters rose to their feet, but Lapurdi Calzada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zumar Palma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mino Artolozaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urdin Labora came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Josu Theas. But to his dismay, Josu Theas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sagrario Trespuentes charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sagrario Trespuentes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Sagrario Trespuentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urdin Labora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yoelvis Meneses went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Memento mori's Urdin Labora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lop Abar in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Memento mori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Socorro Antoñana to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lop Abar in the 35th minute of play forced Memento mori's goalkeeper Urdin Labora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yoelvis Meneses took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urdin Labora. Urdin Labora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Mino Artolozaga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zumar Palma having to make a save. Urdin Labora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Pardelas in the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Josu Theas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urdin Labora. Memento mori's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josu Theas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cordarrol Amezua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Urdin Labora was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Josu Theas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Josu Theas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Memento mori's Urdin Labora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Pardelas in the 60th minute of play. Cordarrol Amezua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zumar Palma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordarrol Amezua's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. If Lapurdi Calzada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordarrol Amezua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Zumar Palma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lapurdi Calzada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Cordarrol Amezua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zumar Palma. Nacional's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cordarrol Amezua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Alberto Pardelas kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nacional had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
