Donattello Kiatcharoenchai came out of the goal and Angel Adrales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santio Sabando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Elmo Nø made a huge save. The supporters of CERRO LARGO F.C. booed when Algorta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnin Borja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donattello Kiatcharoenchai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inguma Orbañanos in the 34th minute of play. After the first half CERRO LARGO F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd match minute, CERRO LARGO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Adrales to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Frichoso Palencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donattello Kiatcharoenchai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gar Grimaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Algorta getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gar Grimaldo hit a great ball. Donattello Kiatcharoenchai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frichoso Palencia, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. CERRO LARGO F.C. played a much better game than Algorta and deserved their victory. The Algorta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
