The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Mendoza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jatsu Alire to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Fenerbache F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Leoiar Roda came free, but Mane Taboada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mane Taboada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basajaun Urrea in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Basajaun Urrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 15 in the game by Zeru Herrea from a close distance when the talented Ariel Mathey managed to make a qualified save. Mendoza's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Lugo Contreras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbache F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Lugo Contreras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Mathey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urbes Pedros might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ariel Mathey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbes Pedros ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leoiar Roda in the 34th minute of play forced Fenerbache F.C's goalkeeper Mane Taboada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mane Taboada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basajaun Urrea in the 39th minute of the match. Mane Taboada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leoiar Roda's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbache F.C's zone, Leoiar Roda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mane Taboada came out of the goal and Leoiar Roda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basajaun Urrea charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basajaun Urrea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basajaun Urrea hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Zuri Heras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mane Taboada having to interfere. In the 61st minute Leoiar Roda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mane Taboada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Mendoza's Basajaun Urrea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mane Taboada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jatsu Alire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 81 played minutes Mendoza got a freekick which was hit by Basajaun Urrea. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Leoiar Roda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mendoza's supporters rose to their feet, but Leoiar Roda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mane Taboada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 played minutes Fenerbache F.C got a freekick which was hit by Aurken Guardamino. Fenerbache F.C's Mane Taboada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leoiar Roda in the 95th minute of play.
