After 9 played minutes CERRO LARGO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Inguma Orbañanos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basajaun Urrea got free with Elmo Nø in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CERRO LARGO F.C.'s Elmo Nø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuri Heras in the 17th minute of play. Elmo Nø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leoiar Roda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elmo Nø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basajaun Urrea in the 20th minute. Basajaun Urrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Inguma Orbañanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to CERRO LARGO F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Frichoso Palencia hit a great ball. Basajaun Urrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmo Nø having to interfere. Inguma Orbañanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ariel Mathey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inguma Orbañanos in the 35th minute of play forced Mendoza's goalkeeper Ariel Mathey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frichoso Palencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Mathey having to interfere. With a little luck, CERRO LARGO F.C.'s Elmo Nø got control of the ball when Basajaun Urrea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Mendoza booed when CERRO LARGO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertran Garate didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
