When Memento mori's Cordarrol Amezua in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fenerbache F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After 14 played minutes Fenerbache F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gumaro Uribe. In the 17th minute, Nunez Villela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Gumaro Uribe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urdin Labora skillfully saved the ball. Cordarrol Amezua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Mane Taboada made a huge save. With a little luck, Fenerbache F.C's Mane Taboada got control of the ball when Cordarrol Amezua tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cordarrol Amezua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mane Taboada having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Fenerbache F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gumaro Uribe to maneuver through the defense. If Mino Artolozaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mane Taboada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordarrol Amezua, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Fenerbache F.C got a freekick which was hit by Lugo Contreras. In the 46th minute Cordarrol Amezua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mane Taboada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Memento mori's Socorro Antoñana got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cordarrol Amezua made a kick off. Mane Taboada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordarrol Amezua in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Fenerbache F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lugo Contreras to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 55 minutes, Xilo Avecilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Memento mori's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xilo Avecilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mane Taboada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarrol Amezua in the 59th minute of the match. Mane Taboada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mino Artolozaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Cordarrol Amezua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mane Taboada was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Mane Taboada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cordarrol Amezua went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Lapurdi Calzada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mino Artolozaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute Socorro Antoñana suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 78 minutes, Lugo Contreras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbache F.C and the Memento mori players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Fenerbache F.C got a freekick which was hit by Lugo Contreras. When Memento mori's Cordarrol Amezua in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fenerbache F.C's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordarrol Amezua in the 85th minute of play forced Fenerbache F.C's goalkeeper Mane Taboada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruisko Marquina hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Lugo Contreras hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
