Amanita Phalloides's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerico Uja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sanson Muñoyerro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Galindo Laserna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amanita Phalloides's Galindo Laserna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Enao in the 34th minute of play. Andres Fombona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerico Uja, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Bernardo Zabalo fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored durazno's protests and gave Bernardo Zabalo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, one of durazno:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for durazno. After 47 played minutes Amanita Phalloides got a freekick which was hit by Claude Vila. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmar Enao made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ugaitz Viladrosa in the 52nd minute of play forced durazno's goalkeeper Andres Fombona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmar Enao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Galindo Laserna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Jerico Uja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Fombona having to interfere. Galindo Laserna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Enao in the 72nd minute of play. Galindo Laserna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Enao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Delmar Enao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Galindo Laserna, 1-2.
