Javiar Herenchun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Can having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paquito Ponga in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beremundo Allonca saved IsmaKen FC from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Pinera FC's Paquito Ponga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beremundo Allonca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Pinera FC defense, Javiar Herenchun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Can. The Pinera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Can should have stopped the shot. After having played for 26 minutes, Adrian Combarros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Combarros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beremundo Allonca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donio Lazaro in the 29th minute. Lino Can took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javiar Herenchun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Arlo Gavarnet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IsmaKen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlo Gavarnet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 minutes, Jaen Giumill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinera FC and the IsmaKen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaen Giumill kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Arlo Gavarnet managed to get in a good position for a shot. IsmaKen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlo Gavarnet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Can breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beremundo Allonca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paquito Ponga in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Paquito Ponga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paquito Ponga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beremundo Allonca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paquito Ponga made a kick off. Beremundo Allonca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donio Lazaro in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Paquito Ponga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Beremundo Allonca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, Paquito Ponga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donio Lazaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Beremundo Allonca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arlo Gavarnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javiar Herenchun struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Lino Can didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IsmaKen FC. If Paquito Ponga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Donio Lazaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beremundo Allonca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Javiar Herenchun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Can was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. If Arlo Gavarnet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paquito Ponga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
