Sanson Muñoyerro might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lino Can. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sanson Muñoyerro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute, durazno's Delmar Enao dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Andres Fombona came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinera FC's Adrian Combarros. But to his dismay, Adrian Combarros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Donio Lazaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Andres Fombona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Delmar Enao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sanson Muñoyerro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Lino Can made a huge save. Lino Can showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Enao, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Lino Can showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Enao in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Pinera FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Zoil Payno hit a great ball. Andres Fombona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donio Lazaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 39th minute of the match Reynaldo Prado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lino Can showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 53 minutes, Delmar Enao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. durazno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Enao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmar Enao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Can having to interfere. In the 56th minute Delmar Enao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Can saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pinera FC's Lino Can played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sanson Muñoyerro in the 57th minute of play. Ralondo Trejo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paquito Ponga in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Fombona saved durazno from getting behind. Lino Can showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sanson Muñoyerro, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Lino Can stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Enao's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Incendio Armesto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pinera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave durazno the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pinera FC's Incendio Armesto got a free kick in the 66th minute. When durazno's Sanson Muñoyerro in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee gave Pinera FC a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Botello Pilas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of durazno's Andres Fombona. 1-2. After 90 played minutes, Pinera FC's Zoil Payno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andres Fombona came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pinera FC reached it. Zernin Zuri's late challenge caught a durazno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zernin Zuri helped the player get up and apologised. Zernin Zuri kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Pinera FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pinera FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
