Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bruno Mesonero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Goizeder Bodelon made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Sanson Muñoyerro sent off a good shot on target. Goizeder Bodelon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Delmar Enao showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. With his leg Goizeder Bodelon managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when durazno's Sanson Muñoyerro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. C.A. Peñarol's Goizeder Bodelon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Peñarol from getting a goal against them. Gaspar Olano hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Bruno Mesonero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andres Fombona was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 33rd minute, Lastur Casquete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmar Enao hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Peñarol's zone, Delmar Enao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goizeder Bodelon came out of the goal and Delmar Enao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Sanson Muñoyerro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petri Olaechea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmar Enao to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of durazno booed when C.A. Peñarol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lastur Casquete didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, C.A. Peñarol's goal looked a bit too open when Sanson Muñoyerro came free, but Goizeder Bodelon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, durazno's Cortez Alberca got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, durazno's goal looked a bit too open when Petri Olaechea came free, but Andres Fombona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peñarol's Bruno Mesonero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Fombona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cortez Alberca's late challenge caught a C.A. Peñarol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cortez Alberca helped the player get up and apologised. Cortez Alberca kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Sanson Muñoyerro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Goizeder Bodelon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Delmar Enao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Goizeder Bodelon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Delmar Enao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Peñarol's Goizeder Bodelon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the game, durazno's Delmar Enao nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Goizeder Bodelon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Goizeder Bodelon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Enao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goizeder Bodelon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Enao in the 96th minute of play. In the 98th minute of the match Bernardo Zabalo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Goizeder Bodelon skillfully saved the ball. There was no doubt that durazno were the better team. durazno's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
