Felix Guiral started the match with the kick off. The referee gave Zapican FC a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leon Falla, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Real Bañil de Tala's Liberto Jerena. 0-1. Havier Palanca took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose-Antonio Diana. Jose-Antonio Diana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jose Ciaño kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Eutropio Cueva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zapican FC and the Real Bañil de Tala players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Zapican FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Bañil de Tala:s goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Ospin Panadero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Bañil de Tala's Liberto Jerena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Liberto Jerena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santxo Castejana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Bañil de Tala's Cayetano Soto was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tirso Conill came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jose-Antonio Diana could save by the left post. Tirso Conills short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Jose-Antonio Diana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Cayetano Soto sped through Zapican FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jose-Antonio Diana. Tirso Conill kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Felix Guiral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liberto Jerena was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Soto in the 36th minute of play forced Zapican FC's goalkeeper Jose-Antonio Diana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tirso Conill kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Cayetano Soto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Bañil de Tala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zapican FC the free kick. Cayetano Soto hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tirso Conill made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Santxo Castejana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zapican FC and the Real Bañil de Tala players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Santxo Castejana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Soto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose-Antonio Diana having to make a save. Jose-Antonio Diana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Soto's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Felix Guiral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tirso Conill struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jose-Antonio Diana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Bañil de Tala. 62 minutes into the match, Zapican FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Soto came free, but Jose-Antonio Diana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose-Antonio Diana came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Bañil de Tala's Tirso Conill. But to his dismay, Tirso Conill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tirso Conill in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose-Antonio Diana saved Zapican FC from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Zapican FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Soto came free, but Jose-Antonio Diana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Bañil de Tala's Liberto Jerena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Guiral in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, one of Real Bañil de Tala:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jose-Antonio Diana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Soto in the 80th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Zapican FC got a freekick which was hit by Eutropio Cueva. Liberto Jerena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivon Orellan in the 85th minute of play. Felix Guiral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liberto Jerena having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Cayetano Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose-Antonio Diana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Bañil de Tala fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Bañil de Tala had played much better football throughout.
