Spectators: 8392 (Terracing: 6296, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) Zapara's Tadzio Pelaez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Urtsua Galindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Unax Baizan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Zapara booed when Artigas Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pitin Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Higinio Cascajares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Victor Sosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Caitano Anduiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadzio Pelaez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Urtsua Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Cascajares in the 26th minute of play forced Artigas Devils's goalkeeper Victor Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Artigas Devils fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Karmel Gallarde placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Zapara's Higinio Cascajares got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Urtsua Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Zapara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caitano Anduiza to maneuver through the defense. After 42 minutes, Pero Trarigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zapara and the Artigas Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victor Sosa came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Zapara's Tadzio Pelaez. But to his dismay, Tadzio Pelaez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Zapara were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Urtsua Galindo made the kick off in the second half. Hug Villacis might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Unax Baizan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hug Villacis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute, Urtsua Galindo made a precise shot to the right of Unax Baizan. Zapara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 59 minutes, Urtsua Galindo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Artigas Devils and the Zapara players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zapara getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Marko Villafranca hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Artigas Devils's goalkeeper Victor Sosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Cascajares. In the 68thth minute of the game Tadzio Pelaez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Artigas Devils's Victor Sosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Higinio Cascajares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artigas Devils's Victor Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Cascajares in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match Karmel Gallarde shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Sosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Unax Baizan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtsua Galindo in the 80th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Zapara's Victor Sosa threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tadzio Pelaez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Victor Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadzio Pelaez, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. During the 94th minute of the match Caitano Anduiza completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Caitano Anduiza a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Caitano Anduiza hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
