The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Arnakimedres getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Nicasio Ufret hit a great ball. The Reyes Canelones FC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Reyes Canelones FC's Ihintza Riguero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the game, Transito Ungia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reyes Canelones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arnakimedres the free kick. In the 15th minute, Transito Ungia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ezequiel Montero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enol Aberasturi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraitz Baena having to interfere. In the 28th minute Ezequiel Montero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraitz Baena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Reyes Canelones FC got a freekick which was hit by Peruxu Elguea. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ihintza Riguero made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Montero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iraitz Baena. Ezequiel Montero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 59th minute Hurko Vallejoller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraitz Baena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st play minute Ezequiel Montero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Iraitz Baena. 1-2. Ezequiel Montero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraitz Baena having to interfere. Diego Agustino charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Arnakimedres booed when Reyes Canelones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Agustino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hurko Vallejoller in the 68th minute of play forced Reyes Canelones FC's goalkeeper Iraitz Baena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Hurko Vallejoller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iraitz Baena was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Hurko Vallejoller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hurko Vallejoller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraitz Baena having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Hurko Vallejoller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iraitz Baena was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Transito Ungia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hurko Vallejoller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraitz Baena having to interfere. Ezequiel Montero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Iraitz Baena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Reyes Canelones FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arnakimedres were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
