The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julian Arteson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santutxo Averasturi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Victor Sosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hug Villacis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eudoxio Badas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eudoxio Badas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtsua Galindo in the 15th minute of play. Julian Arteson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Artigas Devils getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jakue Veragua hit a great ball. Eudoxio Badas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtsua Galindo in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Juvenal Olalde sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Sosa skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for El Semillero. Guipuzkoa Ocariz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victor Sosa. 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, Artigas Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Arteson came free, but Victor Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Arteson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santutxo Averasturi in the 43rd minute of the match. El Semillero's Julian Arteson got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santutxo Averasturi to strike the kick off in the second half. Santutxo Averasturi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Semillero's Julian Arteson got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santutxo Averasturi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Sosa having to interfere. Julian Arteson charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Arteson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Artigas Devils booed when El Semillero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Arteson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hug Villacis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Julian Arteson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Sosa. Artigas Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Arteson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Artigas Devils's goalkeeper Victor Sosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urtsua Galindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Santutxo Averasturi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Julian Arteson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jakue Veragua fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Artigas Devils's protests and gave Jakue Veragua a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Semillero booed when Artigas Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakue Veragua didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Semillero were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Artigas Devils's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guipuzkoa Ocariz took the corner. El Semillero's Guipuzkoa Ocariz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victor Sosa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 97 minutes into the match, El Semillero's Santutxo Averasturi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Sosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. El Semillero played a much better game than Artigas Devils and deserved their victory. The Artigas Devils players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
