Artigas Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Hug Villacis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose-Antonio Diana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose-Antonio Diana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtsua Galindo in the 20th minute of the match. Ivon Orellan hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Urtsua Galindo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose-Antonio Diana. Zapican FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urtsua Galindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ospin Panadero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Victor Sosa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Felix Guiral struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Victor Sosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapican FC. After a rather tough play, Artigas Devils's Pitin Abella got a free kick in the 30th minute. A collision led to Artigas Devils getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dabi Mazule hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Leon Falla sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Artigas Devils's Victor Sosa didn't even have to move. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Guiral to make the kick off. Urtsua Galindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hug Villacis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ospin Panadero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zapican FC had won after a very even match.
