Tobias Basante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 9 minutes into the match, Artigas Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Brasil came free, but Victor Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Cascallana charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Cascallana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.A. Torque booed when Artigas Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Cascallana didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtsua Galindo in the 16th minute of play forced C.A. Torque's goalkeeper Tobias Basante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Brasil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victor Sosa. Vivaldo Brasil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Bertol Alais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Basante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dabi Mazule, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Andre Pariente kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Dabi Mazule had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Basante. C.A. Torque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dabi Mazule was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After having played for 36 minutes, Vivaldo Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Torque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivaldo Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artigas Devils's Victor Sosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Artigas Devils from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vivaldo Brasil to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 61 played minutes Urtsua Galindo rounded C.A. Torque's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vivaldo Brasil in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Sosa saved Artigas Devils from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Vivaldo Brasil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Torque fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 71st minute Dabi Mazule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Basante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hug Villacis got free with Tobias Basante in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertol Alais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Sosa having to interfere. If Jakue Veragua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hug Villacis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tobias Basante firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 86th minute Urtsua Galindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Basante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Artigas Devils defense, Bertol Alais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Sosa. The Artigas Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Sosa should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute Vivaldo Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Bertol Alais notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Artigas Devils's Victor Sosa. Victor Sosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that C.A. Torque were the better team. C.A. Torque's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
