In the 23rdth minute of the game Vivaldo Brasil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but atletico de madrid's Jorginho Lira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tobias Basante came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by atletico de madrid's Qwinton Beyso. But to his dismay, Qwinton Beyso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. atletico de madrid's Cruz Ruiz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 32 minutes atletico de madrid's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andre Pariente who took care of the corner kick. The C.A. Torque fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when C.A. Torque's Vivaldo Brasil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vivaldo Brasil to make the kick off. When Andre Pariente fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Torque's protests and gave Andre Pariente a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes C.A. Torque got a freekick which was hit by Andre Pariente. C.A. Torque's Tobias Basante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maureo Riegas in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Torque's zone, Qwinton Beyso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Basante came out of the goal and Qwinton Beyso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Cruz Ruiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Basante was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, C.A. Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Qwinton Beyso came free, but Tobias Basante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Basante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Ruiz in the 74th minute of play. Tobias Basante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qwinton Beyso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Vivaldo Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorginho Lira was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Bernaldo Rotges charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernaldo Rotges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Cruz Ruiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Basante was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Qwinton Beyso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The atletico de madrid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3.
