After 26 played minutes Fray Bentos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mendebal Movilla. Ronaldinho Berria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gutierre Olarria in the 27th minute of the match. Gutierre Navia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hurko Ezquerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikolas Freije having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Genaro Carredelo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The wind increased when Vicemte Laviada made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Riopedre during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Fray Bentos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Riopedre to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 57 minutes, Hurko Ezquerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fray Bentos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hurko Ezquerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Wazalendo's goal looked a bit too open when Vicemte Laviada came free, but Mikolas Freije reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesaro Cugurulls in the 69th minute of play forced Fray Bentos F.C.'s goalkeeper Ronaldinho Berria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicemte Laviada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesaro Cugurulls kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Fray Bentos F.C. were the better team. Fray Bentos F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
