The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagoberto Neila got free with Villiam Benet in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Enrique Agranja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Goes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Guipuzkoa Velamines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacorro Oropeza in the 28th minute of the match. Villiam Benet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oskitz Tendiero in the 47th minute. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Goes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adolfo Larrave was slow to take the kick. During this time SAS's players had a chance to rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oskitz Tendiero to make the kick off. SAS's Guipuzkoa Velamines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save SAS from getting a goal against them. After 63 played minutes Club Atlético Goes got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Cambas. In the 65th minute, Enrique Agranja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, SAS's Guipuzkoa Velamines got control of the ball when Gartzen Llantada tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gartzen Llantada got free with Guipuzkoa Velamines in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the game, Oskitz Tendiero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Villiam Benet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of SAS booed when Club Atlético Goes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Cambas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Oskitz Tendiero came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskitz Tendiero couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
