Vicemte Laviada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nando Afaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Genaro Carredelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donio Forteza to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Fray Bentos F.C.'s Vicemte Laviada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nando Afaba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C.A. Pikachu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Vicemte Laviada scored to the left of an out of position Nando Afaba, making the score, 0-1. Pikachu got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Guerrez. Vicemte Laviada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jago Aubert kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Fray Bentos F.C.'s Vicemte Laviada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nando Afaba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Donio Forteza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldinho Berria was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to C.A. Pikachu getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Octavio Guerrez hit a great ball. Vicemte Laviada succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The supporters of C.A. Pikachu booed when Fray Bentos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Montarco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Octavio Guerrez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldinho Berria skillfully saved the ball. In the 90th minute Ler Barcelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Berria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Leo Montarco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fray Bentos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Pikachu the free kick. In the 91st minute, Leo Montarco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Jago Aubert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Berria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fray Bentos F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
