The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th match minute, Fray Bentos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicollao Zumista to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match, Pacorro Oropeza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ronaldinho Berria was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 15 minutes into the match, Gartzen Llantada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldinho Berria. Fray Bentos F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gartzen Llantada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Pacorro Oropeza came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ronaldinho Berria could save by the left post. Ronaldinho Berria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Agranja, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Fray Bentos F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gartzen Llantada 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Ronaldinho Berria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gartzen Llantada, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Agranja in the 29th minute of play forced Fray Bentos F.C.'s goalkeeper Ronaldinho Berria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Fray Bentos F.C. getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mateo Regato hit a great ball. Ronaldinho Berria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Agranja, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicemte Laviada to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Fray Bentos F.C.'s Gutierre Zumista got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Goes's Cordeiro Teja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldinho Berria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Gartzen Llantada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ronaldinho Berria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Goes made a substitution. Pedroso Villarprego replaced Mikelar Gualda. Gartzen Llantada spun around in front of the goal 71 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Fray Bentos F.C.'s goal. If Enéas Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Goes's Enrique Agranja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldinho Berria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Club Atlético Goes made a substitution. Tome Manurga replaced Saverio Sarceada. Fray Bentos F.C.'s Ronaldinho Berria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gartzen Llantada in the 83rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atlético Goes had played much better football throughout.
