Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Salvadore Lombraña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Orcondonas short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Mikolas Sans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 8 minutes, Quilo Senties mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cortume and the CERRO LARGO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CERRO LARGO FC booed when Cortume was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quilo Senties didn't get a good kick on the ball. CERRO LARGO FC's Rito Alejandro got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Alcantara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Llanderas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atarrabi Najera in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikolas Sans saved CERRO LARGO FC from getting behind. After having played for 15 minutes, Maximo Llanderas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CERRO LARGO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Llanderas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Stephan Van Mechelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Van Mechelen in the 18th minute of play forced Cortume's goalkeeper Mark Alcantara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Orcondona came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mikolas Sans could save by the left post. After 30 played minutes CERRO LARGO FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho de Barros. Mark Alcantara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rito Alejandro's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Mikolas Sans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atarrabi Najera in the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Maximo Llanderas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Alcantara was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Llanderas to make the kick off. When Quilo Senties was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Cortume's Quilo Senties got a free kick in the 60th minute. Mark Alcantara made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Rito Alejandro sent off a good shot on target. Mark Alcantara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximo Llanderas went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cortume! A collision led to Cortume getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Eskuin Bedes hit a great ball. Mark Alcantara was a little too slow when Rito Alejandro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-6. In the 82nd minute, Atarrabi Najera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rito Alejandro struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Mark Alcantara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CERRO LARGO FC. Cortume's Tiago Orcondona got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximo Llanderas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mark Alcantara. That made the score 0-7 in the 89 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Maximo Llanderas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Alcantara was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Gora Montarco kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
