La Murguita's Marcelino Garival played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Llanderas in the 26th minute of play. Mikolas Sans was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Aktaç Ballı capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aktaç Ballı really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 31st minute, Carlos Cabrera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelino Garival was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Maximo Llanderas took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelino Garival. Marcelino Garival dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Stephan Van Mechelen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelino Garival having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, CERRO LARGO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aktaç Ballı came free, but Mikolas Sans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, CERRO LARGO FC's goalkeeper Mikolas Sans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urtats Santillion. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urtats Santillion to strike the kick off in the second half.
