The referee ignored YORUGUA F.C's protests and gave Godofredo Muelas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Paso de la Arena booed when YORUGUA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Muelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nardo Cebollero scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorino Qwinton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorino Qwinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primeiro Ruis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paso de la Arena's Victorino Qwinton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Paso de la Arena from getting a goal against them. Nardo Cebollero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Victorino Qwinton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Justin Salces put in a rough tackle. After recieving a nice pass, YORUGUA F.C's Leoncio Quintanilla tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Garcia Llanderas made a kick off. When Osorio Massey came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Paso de la Arena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osorio Massey couldn't finish the play. Victorino Qwinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nardo Cebollero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Eutropio Ballugera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Qwinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paso de la Arena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garcia Llanderas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Osorio Massey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paso de la Arena's supporters rose to their feet, but Osorio Massey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mincho Freixes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osorio Massey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
