EL MAGO ONEILL were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Nando's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jasper Goemyne took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Erasto Herrero heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some careless play in the Nando defense, Jasper Goemyne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexis Viera. The Nando fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexis Viera should have stopped the shot. EL MAGO ONEILL's 潘桑星 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save EL MAGO ONEILL from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernad Teijeira in the 24th minute of play forced Nando's goalkeeper Alexis Viera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nando! In the 31st minute, Jasper Goemyne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL MAGO ONEILL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Alexis Viera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Goemyne in the 43rd minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jasper Goemyne to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Şafak Baytugay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 潘桑星 was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
