Spectators: 8308 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 20) Paso de la Arena's Osorio Massey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Paso de la Arena's zone, Lucas Ariza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Qwinton came out of the goal and Lucas Ariza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Sauveur Floranes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vinolles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ceandro Pato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osorio Massey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garcia Llanderas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Marcelino Greña's late challenge caught a Paso de la Arena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelino Greña helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Paso de la Arena. Nuno Urrejola stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ceandro Pato. 1-1. Victorino Qwinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Ariza, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vinolles FC's zone, Justin Salces stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceandro Pato came out of the goal and Justin Salces tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorino Qwinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sauveur Floranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lucas Ariza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Zarzosa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paso de la Arena fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sauveur Floranes was the one to do the kick off. Victorino Qwinton came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Vinolles FC's Sauveur Floranes. But to his dismay, Sauveur Floranes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Lucas Ariza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Victorino Qwinton made a huge save. Lucas Arizas short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Victorino Qwinton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 59 in the game by Lucas Ariza from a close distance when the talented Victorino Qwinton managed to make a qualified save. Paso de la Arena's players were relieved. Cássio Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cássio Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garcia Llanderas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceandro Pato having to interfere. If Cássio Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 73 minutes, Senio Torices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinolles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Senio Torices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorino Qwinton made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Lucas Ariza sent off a good shot on target. When Iigo Fondos fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinolles FC's protests and gave Iigo Fondos a yellow card for diving instead. Iigo Fondos kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Sauveur Floranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Qwinton having to interfere. Lucas Ariza succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 82nd playminute. Victorino Qwinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gumaro Torices in the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Paso de la Arena defense, Senio Torices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Qwinton. The Paso de la Arena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Qwinton should have stopped the shot. When Sauveur Floranes fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinolles FC's protests and gave Sauveur Floranes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vinolles FC's Sauveur Floranes got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Vinolles FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vinolles FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
