When Diegotxe Giribet came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Robert Nesta Marley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diegotxe Giribet couldn't finish the play. Diegotxe Giribet's late challenge caught a Pinchazo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diegotxe Giribet helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pinchazo booed when Robert Nesta Marley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diegotxe Giribet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Pinchazo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Santander to maneuver through the defense. Reimundo Paba stood somewhat misplaced when Henrik Löv came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. The supporters of Robert Nesta Marley booed when Pinchazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donostia Biñayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Nesta Marley's Garaile Monagray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Martinez in the 28th minute of play. Reimundo Paba had great luck who in the 29thth minute grab hold of the ball when Henrik Löv from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Henrik Löv could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Reimundo Paba made a huge save. Cipriano Cubas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reimundo Paba having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Robert Nesta Marley's Henrik Löv ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reimundo Paba. Reimundo Paba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Henrik Löv's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Reimundo Paba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Henrik Löv who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Reimundo Paba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Martinez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Henrik Löv made a precise shot to the right of Reimundo Paba. Pinchazo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The audience was convinced that Henrik Löv's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reimundo Paba was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Reimundo Paba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Löv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Robert Nesta Marley got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Cubas. Pinchazo's Reimundo Paba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Löv in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Robert Nesta Marley's Henrik Löv made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reimundo Paba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reimundo Paba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Cubas, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The audience was convinced that Henrik Löv's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reimundo Paba was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After having played for 93 minutes, Rafal Czysta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Robert Nesta Marley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafal Czysta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dantae Gante hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Löv in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reimundo Paba saved Pinchazo from getting behind.
