The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Peñacerrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mateus Arenchen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateus Arenchen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Molinuevo in the 18th minute of the match. Punta Carretas FC's Marcelito Cirion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Emesto in the 22nd minute of play. Siro Molinuevo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Mateus Arenchen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Punta Carretas FC. Arif Memduh İpekli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Timoteo Emesto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Talud fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Emesto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelito Cirion was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Timoteo Emesto took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelito Cirion. Marcelito Cirion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Punta Carretas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Talud were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Siro Molinuevo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Punta Carretas FC's zone, Timoteo Emesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelito Cirion came out of the goal and Timoteo Emesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Timoteo Emesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Talud's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Emesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelito Cirion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Timoteo Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Arenchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Peñacerrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roque Peñacerrada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th match minute, El Talud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clementi Frade to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Talud's goalkeeper Mateus Arenchen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Roque Peñacerrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
