In the 8th minute Marek Ivanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colas Cadrecha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Volpe in the 15th minute of play forced Team Avatar's goalkeeper Christian Lamadrid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Ivanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Colas Cadrecha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Sacramento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Bern to maneuver through the defense. Guilllermo Egaña made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Team Avatar's Jiří Lojda. In the 24th minute, Zaid Urhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Team Avatar's Berto Brito seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Berto Brito the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Team Avatar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Berto Brito had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Berto Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Guilllermo Egaña took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Lamadrid. Team Avatar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Hubert Bern notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Team Avatar's Christian Lamadrid. Christian Lamadrid was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Lamadrid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Volpe in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Avatar's goalkeeper Christian Lamadrid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Xayveon Retortillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Christian Lamadrid was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Team Avatar's Christian Lamadrid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Vincent in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Sacramento were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Seijon was the one to do the kick off. Christian Lamadrid made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Vincent in the 53rd minute. Christian Lamadrid didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. In the 78th minute, Zaid Urhan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Lamadrid. The goal made the score 2-5. Team Avatar made a substitution. Lopes Ribas replaced Jiří Lojda. Christian Lamadrid didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Volpe went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. In the 88thth minute of the game Vinicio Vincent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Avatar's Christian Lamadrid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Team Avatar's Christian Lamadrid got control of the ball when Antonio Volpe tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Team Avatar's goalkeeper Christian Lamadrid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaid Urhan. Colas Cadrecha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Seijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Sacramento's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
