After 4 minutes of play, Canterano's Oto Zuazna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amien Pangestu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Veli Kartal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reno Cena in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Canterano's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Betadur came free, but Veli Kartal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Cole Macalister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amien Pangestu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oto Zuazna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andre Skipton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Veli Kartal made a huge save. Canterano were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Los Nerones's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnas Hualde took the corner. After taking down the ball on Canterano's corner Arnas Hualde fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amien Pangestu quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The corner led Canterano's Arnas Hualde to fire away a dangerous shot which Amien Pangestu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Oto Zuazna might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amien Pangestu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oto Zuazna ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Los Nerones's Amien Pangestu got control of the ball when Oto Zuazna tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Canterano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lidon Garavito to maneuver through the defense. Veli Kartal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Skipton, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The Canterano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Canterano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
