The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Salvator during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vinicio Vincent struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Eugeniusz Ciempa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sacramento. 1-0 became the score in the 7th minute when Sergio Rengifo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sergio Rengifo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Colas Cadrecha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Eugeniusz Ciempa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Volpe in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Sacramento were awarded a corner. Guilllermo Egaña went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Guilllermo Egaña got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugeniusz Ciempa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 17 minutes, Vinicio Vincent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sacramento and the ROVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Sacramento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Vincent to maneuver through the defense. Colas Cadrecha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Rengifo in the 23rd minute of play. The Sacramento fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Sacramento's Antonio Volpe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sergio Rengifo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Colas Cadrecha. Colas Cadrecha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Antonio Volpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugeniusz Ciempa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaid Urhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

ROVER's Eugeniusz Ciempa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save ROVER from getting a goal against them. Antonio Volpe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugeniusz Ciempa came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Volpe slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 64th minute. In the 67th match minute, Sacramento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilllermo Egaña to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Sonibas's late challenge caught a Sacramento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Sonibas helped the player get up and apologised. Virgilio Sonibas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Antonio Volpe kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Sergio Rengifo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Sacramento's Colas Cadrecha. Colas Cadrecha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ROVER's Eugeniusz Ciempa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Bern in the 79th minute of play. Colas Cadrecha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Rengifo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zaid Urhan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Sacramento's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 82nd minute Hubert Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Ciempa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Sacramento got a freekick which was hit by Guilllermo Egaña. Eugeniusz Ciempa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Bern in the 94th minute of play.
