Andres Castellon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureo Solar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Nacional De Futbol's Joaquin Palmero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hotz Viaña in the 10th minute of play. Andres Castellon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureo Solar in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, FULBITO F.C's Hotz Viaña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Palmero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 18th minute, Xaver Urria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Club Nacional De Futbol getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sayvion Ontañon hit a great ball. Imanol Turrilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Palmero having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froylan Robira got free with Andres Castellon in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andres Castellon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sayvion Ontañon in the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureo Solar in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Castellon saved FULBITO F.C from getting behind. With a little luck, FULBITO F.C's Andres Castellon got control of the ball when Orlanda Rosinos tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hotz Viaña in the 36th minute of play forced Club Nacional De Futbol's goalkeeper Joaquin Palmero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FULBITO F.C getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Astor Urrechua hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Aureo Solar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andres Castellon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Froylan Robira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Nacional De Futbol's Aureo Solar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andres Castellon. That made the score 3-1 after 47 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Joaquin Palmero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Licerio Loinaz in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Froylan Robira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Castellon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Palmero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hotz Viaña went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Patrido Ayo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Xaver Urria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xaver Urria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Joaquin Palmero made a huge save. Joaquin Palmero made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Hotz Viaña sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 79 minutes, Hotz Viaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FULBITO F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hotz Viaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Castellon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froylan Robira, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Xaver Urria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Palmero having to interfere. Andres Castellon came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Nacional De Futbol's Froylan Robira. But to his dismay, Froylan Robira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Imanol Turrilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FULBITO F.C booed when Club Nacional De Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureo Solar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Club Nacional De Futbol booed when FULBITO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Urrechua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loreto Bolante kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. FULBITO F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
