It was Gonsalvo Cerra who took care of the corner kick. Treviso FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gonsalvo Cerra in the 5th minute. 5 minutes into the game, Berriotxoa Valdeboys lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Angélico Távora. In the 8th minute, Gonsalvo Cerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Treviso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Cordarrell Sarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Treviso FC's Koldo Balli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angélico Távora in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 14th minute, Treviso FC's Gonsalvo Cerra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Txema Avecia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angélico Távora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Angélico Távora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordarrell Sarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Treviso FC's Alejandro Iraido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garoa Ruidio in the 24th minute of play. Angélico Távora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordarrell Sarro in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordarrell Sarro in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angélico Távora saved Everton from getting behind. If Gonsalvo Cerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Cordarrell Sarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angélico Távora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everton's Angélico Távora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarrell Sarro in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Treviso FC's Cordarrell Sarro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angélico Távora narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Cordarrell Sarro took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Angélico Távora to make any attempt to save it. After 40th play minutes Cordarrell Sarro shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Angélico Távora and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ysidro Viñas in the 44th minute of play forced Treviso FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Iraido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Ysidro Viñas made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Gonsalvo Cerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angélico Távora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordarrell Sarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angélico Távora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonsalvo Cerra in the 60th minute of the match. Alejandro Iraido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Lavet's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 71st minute, Cordarrell Sarro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angélico Távora was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordarrell Sarro in the 75th minute of play forced Everton's goalkeeper Angélico Távora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everton's Angélico Távora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonsalvo Cerra in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Cordarrell Sarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angélico Távora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Everton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angélico Távora should have stopped the shot. Angélico Távora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordarrell Sarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Alejandro Iraido came out and tried to block the shot, but Ysidro Viñas slotted it home off the left post making it 8-1 in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Treviso FC were the better team. Treviso FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
