Celso Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 罗康延, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Montevideo City F. C.'s 罗康延 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celso Arce. Celso Arce yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Pepillo Lena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tercero Lizundia having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, 罗康延 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celso Arce, 4-0. In the 28th minute Fulgencio Estebano suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon Michel during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Treinta y tres FC's Honorio Palomeque was substituted for Fulgencio Estebano. Tercero Lizundia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meriç Yalazan in the 74th minute of play. Montevideo City F. C.'s Tercero Lizundia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepillo Lena in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Montevideo City F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Ireno Zuri. 81 minutes into the match, Treinta y tres FC's Eugenio Blanco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tercero Lizundia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute Zuriko Rincon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Zuriko Rincon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montevideo City F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zuriko Rincon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Montevideo City F. C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Treinta y tres FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
