Natalio Nazario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Paulin Sequeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cimarrones F.C. booed when Vanadio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxin Oces didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulin Sequeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Nazario in the 17th minute of the match. If Natalio Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cimarrones F.C. booed when Vanadio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Servando Ariztimuño didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Cimarrones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Madaria to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Maxin Oces from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Themba Takane's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 37 minutes into the game, Cimarrones F.C.'s Natalio Nazario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulin Sequeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Vanadio F.C.'s attentive Evaristo Gurruchaga managed to snatch the ball when Handley Roach made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Cimarrones F.C.'s Themba Takane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Suarez in the 42nd minute of play. Themba Takane made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Evaristo Gurruchaga sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Bekir Çağan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gordon Suarez made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Nazario came free, but Paulin Sequeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vanadio F.C.'s zone, Natalio Nazario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulin Sequeiros came out of the goal and Natalio Nazario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Bekir Çağan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Themba Takane was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Rıfat Şahin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Inacio Fidalgo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cimarrones F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Inacio Fidalgo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulin Sequeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Vanadio F.C.'s Bekir Çağan got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Bekir Çağan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cimarrones F.C. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Inacio Fidalgo hit a great ball. Janari Hinn made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gordon Suarez however managed to control. After 83 minutes Cimarrones F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leizarraga Olmedo who took care of the corner kick. Themba Takane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leizarraga Olmedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Maxin Oces kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Cimarrones F.C. were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Vanadio F.C. side.
