Richie Cagigal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Bizen in the 13th minute of the match. Valery Menendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucho Aguiar in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's zone, Millan Galbarruri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richie Cagigal came out of the goal and Millan Galbarruri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richie Cagigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Bizen in the 17th minute of play. Torkild Jekes's late challenge caught a Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torkild Jekes helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucho Aguiar in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valery Menendez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Tirso Abad scored to the left of an out of position Richie Cagigal, making the score, 2-1. After having played for 38 minutes, Lucho Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucho Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Lucho Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valery Menendez. MauryLocoFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucho Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 46 minutes into the match, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalkeeper Richie Cagigal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tirso Abad. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucho Aguiar to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tirso Abad in the 51st minute of play forced Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalkeeper Richie Cagigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richie Cagigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Millan Galbarruri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valery Menendez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Richie Cagigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Millan Galbarruri in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MauryLocoFC had played much better football throughout.
