An unexpectedly hard shot by Elizardo Massana in the 28th minute of play forced Club Carolino de Fútbol's goalkeeper Fausto Raposo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Carqueja's Oliverio Cavallosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Raposo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Arraiz got free with Kerem Ceyhan in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marques Rovira was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Mario Vielva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 57th minute Marques Rovira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerem Ceyhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carqueja's Kerem Ceyhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Arraiz in the 62nd minute of play. With 66 minutes on the clock, Silban Riguez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Silban Riguez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Elizardo Massana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Raposo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carqueja's Mario Vielva got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elizardo Massana in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fausto Raposo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 87 minutes into the match, Mario Vielva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Raposo. Club Carolino de Fútbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Vielva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 89th minute Odon Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerem Ceyhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Club Carolino de Fútbol's Fausto Raposo got control of the ball when Cortez Olalde tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Carqueja's Fausto Raposo threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tiago Zotillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over Carqueja could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Carolino de Fútbol throughout the match.
