The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ereinotz Masbernat scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmund Piczak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kerem Ceyhan made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Adolfo Reyes sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliverio Cavallosa in the 10th minute of play forced Centenario City FC's goalkeeper Edmund Piczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Piczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enmanuel Herdozain in the 17th minute of the match. Edmund Piczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Vielva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ereinotz Masbernat in the 22nd minute of play forced Centenario City FC's goalkeeper Edmund Piczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Elizardo Massana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Piczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Adolfo Reyes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Carqueja's Kerem Ceyhan. Kerem Ceyhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmund Piczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elizardo Massana in the 31st minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Carqueja's Ereinotz Masbernat made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmund Piczak was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute, Centenario City FC's Adolfo Reyes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kerem Ceyhan. Kerem Ceyhan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Ereinotz Masbernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Edmund Piczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Mario Vielva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Piczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Centenario City FC's Edmund Piczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliverio Cavallosa in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cortez Olalde got free with Edmund Piczak in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmund Piczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Vielva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Reyes took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kerem Ceyhan. Kerem Ceyhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 65 minutes into the match, Centenario City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oliverio Cavallosa came free, but Edmund Piczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Felix Acaron made a precise shot to the right of Kerem Ceyhan. Carqueja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Kerem Ceyhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlondo Mathey replaced Ereinotz Masbernat. A collision led to Centenario City FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jurand Lamczyk hit a great ball. The supporters of Carqueja booed when Centenario City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Sesuldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jurand Lamczyk fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centenario City FC's protests and gave Jurand Lamczyk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Centenario City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Lamczyk to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Vielva in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmund Piczak saved Centenario City FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Alberto Suárez in the 93rd minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Kerem Ceyhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
