Geofredo Illanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Ovando having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Oxman got free with Jordi Albarracin in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jordi Albarracin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edelmiro Oxman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrio Ovando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Oxman got free with Jordi Albarracin in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geofredo Illanes to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Geofredo Illanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geofredo Illanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Edelmiro Oxman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buill's Jordi Albarracin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Buill's Geofredo Illanes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Demetrio Ovando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cogomo AFC's Demetrio Ovando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Cogomo AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Buill's Romildo Grille ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Demetrio Ovando. Demetrio Ovando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Buill players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cogomo AFC.
