But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnín Guillermo couldn't finish the play. Francisco Antonio Garzón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnín Guillermo in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, CARLOS AGUILA F.C.'s Saturnín Guillermo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Antonio Garzón made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, CARLOS AGUILA F.C.'s Saturnín Guillermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Antonio Garzón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Saturnín Guillermo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Antonio Garzón was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Saturnín Guillermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Antonio Garzón. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saturnín Guillermo was the one to do the kick off. Bertrán Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Natalio Maier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saturnín Guillermo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Antonio Garzón. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnín Guillermo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute, CARLOS AGUILA F.C.'s Saturnín Guillermo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Francisco Antonio Garzón stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnín Guillermo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. CARLOS AGUILA F.C.'s Saturnín Guillermo got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Abelardo Vera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnín Guillermo had several of the Lobos U.S.A.C.H.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Francisco Antonio Garzón as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 91st minute, Rogerio Naretto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Francisco Antonio Garzón, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos U.S.A.C.H.'s zone, Saturnín Guillermo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Antonio Garzón came out of the goal and Saturnín Guillermo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Lobos U.S.A.C.H. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CARLOS AGUILA F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
