When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Oscar Mira sped through Washimingos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabino Alcantara. Adriano Devoto hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Xamín Mac Iver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ángel Zambón having to make a save. A collision led to Ansipar getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Paco Antonucci hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Saturnino Gómez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ángel Zambón skillfully saved the ball. 27 minutes in the game, Xamín Mac Iver fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ángel Zambón having to interfere. Ansipar's Mauricio Galeas got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Washimingos's goalkeeper Gabino Alcantara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Mauricio Galeas came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ansipar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Galeas couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Omar Lemus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Washimingos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Mauricio Galeas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabino Alcantara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The Washimingos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ansipar were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xamín Mac Iver was the one to do the kick off. Ansipar's Ángel Zambón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Lemus in the 52nd minute of play. Ángel Zambón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xamín Mac Iver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Washimingos's goalkeeper Gabino Alcantara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Galeas. A collision led to Washimingos getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zenón Azoca hit a great ball. Gabino Alcantara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Mira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Juan Miguel Webar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gabino Alcantara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Mira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabino Alcantara having to interfere. If Mauricio Galeas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ansipar's Mauricio Galeas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabino Alcantara. That made the score 1-3 after 80 minutes of play. 83 minutes into the match, Washimingos's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Mira came free, but Gabino Alcantara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabino Alcantara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Mira in the 85th minute of play. Gabino Alcantara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Galeas in the 87th minute. Gabino Alcantara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Mira, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Ansipar's goal looked a bit too open when Xamín Mac Iver came free, but Ángel Zambón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
