But to his dismay, Sebastian Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Arturo Fernandez Vial's Sebastian Villa in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Sebastian Villa put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Edgar Munster. After a rather tough play, Boca FC's Evelio Bahamonde got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 30 played minutes Arturo Fernandez Vial got a freekick which was hit by Albano Cresencio. After a rather tough play, Arturo Fernandez Vial's Loco Chapa got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Ricardo Alert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arturo Fernandez Vial the free kick. Ricardo Alert hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Arturo Fernandez Vial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loco Chapa to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Arturo Fernandez Vial were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Villa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Arturo Fernandez Vial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Galan to maneuver through the defense. Jose Ramon Maier made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Robustiano Wirth. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Javiero Orden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Ardura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Munster having to interfere. The nice shot from Sebastian Villa in the 70thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Edgar Munster had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Marcelino Roderigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Edgar Munster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Fernandez Vial's Ruperto Ayarza was substituted for Paulo Ardura. Quintén Langdon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Edgar Munster skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ruperto Ayarza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Munster having to interfere. Evelio Bahamonde kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Quintén Langdon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Edgar Munster when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Boca FC's Edgar Munster proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Boca FC from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Arturo Fernandez Vial could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boca FC throughout the match.
